Mergers and Acquisitions Make Us More Than A Good Place To Work

ePrize is raking in the best places to work awards, we've been honored as one of the 101 Best and Brightest Companies To Work For, we were noted as an Economic Bright Spot in Detroit by Corp! magazine, we made the Inc 500 |5000 list for the 7th year in a row and AdAge recently placed us on their Best Places To Work List for 2011.
We know we're the best and we're glad you're hearing why too. But, there are a couple of little known facts about ePrize that haven't earned us any awards…yet.
Turns out when you work in a place with lots of great people, sometimes you want to keep those people around. Like, forever. We've got a few ePrize weddings under our belt to prove it.
Rob & Stephanie
- Started Dating: March 2006
- Engaged: 10.17.06 (so says Rob) or 11.14.06 (says Stephanie)
- Married on: 10.27.07
Stephanie spotted Rob at work and thought he was an intern, but he was actually the software engineer on a program with one of Stephanie's friends. That friend, a couple of happy hours (or nights "studying at the local library" as Rob puts it), and some late night instant messaging sessions and by mid-March they were dating. Stephanie says, "A lot of people think it is crazy we work together and still enjoy each other's company but I can't imagine not being in the same building as him Monday – Friday."
Gina & Keith
- Started Dating: November 2007
- Engaged: June 2008
- Married on: May 9, 2009
Keith was a Graphic Designer, Gina a Project Manager though they didn't work on many projects together. However they found themselves involved in a few heated Guitar Hero sessions in their downtime at the office. An ePrizer's party to celebrate Faygo's 100th Birthday changed that and led to their first date. Seven months later they were engaged.
Tyler & Amanda
- Started Dating: They tried to keep it secret at the time, but now that they're married, it was late August 2007
- Engaged: September 2009
- Married on: August 6, 2011 (Newlyweds!)
Tyler and Amanda met at ePrize when she was pretty new (5 month veteran) and he had just started. He was brought into the happy hour crowd and they became work friends, eventually dating. Amanda is grateful for not just meeting Tyler at ePrize but for all the life-long friends they've both met at work. A fellow ePrizer, Chris M, even performed their wedding ceremony
